Through Mud, Sweat, and Purpose: TVP Black Rats Smash Their Wolf Run 2025 Fundraising Goal!
Share
On September 13th, 2025, the Thames Valley Police Road Policing Unit—known proudly as the TVP Black Rats—took on one of the UK’s most grueling challenges: the Wolf Run. This 10km adventure course is no walk in the park. With 30 punishing obstacles, relentless mud, and terrain designed to test every ounce of grit, it’s a true trial of endurance, teamwork, and determination.
But the Black Rats weren’t just running for glory—they were running for Brake, the road safety charity that works tirelessly to prevent road deaths and support victims of traffic collisions. As officers who witness the devastating consequences of road crashes far too often, this cause couldn’t be closer to their hearts.
And the results? Nothing short of inspiring.
🎉 £780 raised and counting! ** Surpassing their original target of £500, the Black Rats have already rallied 37 generous donors to support Brake’s life-saving mission. Every pound raised helps fund vital support services for crash victims and fuels campaigns for safer streets across the UK.
This isn’t just a fundraiser—it’s a statement. A statement that road safety matters. That community action can drive change. And that even the muddiest of paths can lead to a brighter, safer future.
💛 There’s still time to be part of this incredible journey. Whether it’s £1 or £100, your donation helps push the mission forward: Zero Road Deaths. Let’s keep the momentum going and show the TVP Black Rats that their sweat and sacrifice are backed by a community that cares.
To Lewis, Ali, Kerry, Cameron, and Craig—congratulations on conquering the Wolf Run. You’ve not only crushed the course, but you’ve also championed a cause that truly saves lives.
Here’s to muddy boots, big hearts, and safer roads for all. 🛣️💪
