Help the TVP Black Rats Take On the Wolf Run – and Support a Life-Saving Cause

On Saturday 13th September 2025, a determined team of Thames Valley Police Road Policing Officers – the TVP Black Rats – will be tackling the epic Wolf Run: a punishing 10km adventure course packed with 30 gruelling obstacles, unforgiving mud, treacherous trails, and physical and mental challenges that will push us to our absolute limits.

But we’re not just doing this for the thrill – we’re doing it for a vital cause close to our hearts.

We’re raising funds for Brake, a road safety charity working tirelessly to create a world where no one dies or is seriously injured on the roads. Every day, Brake supports victims and families devastated by road crashes, while campaigning for safer streets and better road laws to protect all road users – no matter how they travel.

As officers who see the tragic consequences of road traffic collisions far too often, we’re passionate about making a difference beyond the uniform.
